Life has it's ups and it's downs. I have always found quotations to help stabilize me. They remind me that I am not the first to feel any given way. They remind me that others need comfort, support, motivation, and love. Enjoy the daily quotes!

Happy Thanksgiving to all
In honor of Thanksgiving I have two quotes. One, by Erma Bombeck I just couldn't resist. The other more telling of Thanksgiving. Thank you to God first and foremost, thanks to my parents for all they've done, my husband for making the past 15 years wonderful, to my children, to all of my friends and family. I am eternally grateful for all of you.
What we're really talking about is a wonderful day set aside on the fourth Thursday of November when no one diets. I mean, why else would they call it Thanksgiving? ~Erma Bombeck, "No One Diets on Thanksgiving," 26 November 1981
Our rural ancestors, with little blest,
Patient of labour when the end was rest,
Indulged the day that housed their annual grain,
With feasts, and off'rings, and a thankful strain.
~Alexander Pope

Headache
The man who doesn't relax and hoot a few hoots voluntarily, now and then, is in great danger of hooting hoots and standing on his head for the edification of the pathologist and trained nurse, a little later on. ~Elbert Hubbard
Be happy, be healthy, and be peaceful.
Be happy, be healthy, and be peaceful.

None are so empty as those who are full of themselves. ~Benjamin Whichcote

Thank you.
Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die. ~G.K. Chesterton
To the veterans, those who love this country and believe it is worth fighting for: THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. After 235+ years you and those before you have had faith in the purpose of the United States of America and THAT makes me proud to be an American. God bless you and keep you safe.
